Ally,
It is great to see pics of you teaching about HIV and making such a huge difference in the lives of those around you, thank you. I heard Ishmael Beah, author of A Long Way Gone speak today @ Heritage H.S. He was amazing. Reminded me to check your blog. Can't believe time for you in Africa is ticking away. Great to see you mom in Copper. Love from Mallory, Ry and Jack!!
I was a PCV in Nwa (30 miles east of Ndu) from 1993-95. I spent a lot of time in Ndu (mostly boozing and waiting for a vehicle to fill up on my way to Bamenda or Nwa). Reading your blog makes me extremely nostalgic. Enjoy your last few months - there will never be another time like this one!
